KONSTANTINUS' LEGACY - AWAKING THE LOVE FOR NATURE

Konstantinus, a native of Batanta in Raja Ampat, set out to continue his father's mission to awaken the love for nature in people after his father was killed by illegal loggers in 2010. As he says, he chose a less radical path to do so, teaching children about the beauty of local nature, running a sustainability-focused homestay, and planting corals, sea grass, and mangroves himself. With all these measures, his goal is to protect and maintain one of the last natural paradises, as well as ensuring a sustainable livelihood for the local communities.
